Figure if the Prosine is 90% efficient you will be dissipating 200 watts in the unit at full power draw. I doubt you would actually use 2000 watts for any significant length of time (except maybe running the AC) but it is something to consider.

I would guess the unit has an internal temperature sensor and overtemp shutdown?
