You choose - loaded gas or basic diesel?
If you had to buy a SD/HD truck today, what would you choose... a loaded, leather gas model or a diesel with cloth and just a few basic gadgets? Assume similar price, which is what I am finding.

Current truck is diesel - because power is normalized at high altitude by turbo-supercharger, 10 - 12 mpUSgal towing 22,999lbs GCW, cruise at 1500 to 2100 rpm in road gear, climb western grades at 1500 to 2100 rpm in 5th and 4th gear, descend grades at safe speeds without using foundation brakes by using retarder brake.
