You choose - loaded gas or basic diesel?
If you had to buy a SD/HD truck today, what would you choose... a loaded, leather gas model or a diesel with cloth and just a few basic gadgets? Assume similar price, which is what I am finding.

Think you'll be happy with the gasser. For what you have now RV wise, it will do everything you want. With Diesel being 70 cents to $1 a gallon more than gas, unless you drive tens of thousands of miles every year, you'd never come out on top $$ wise. Not to to mention the several thousand dollar premium you would of paid to the dealer just to belong to the diesel secret handshake club.
