US 50 in WV from I79 to I77
Wondering how this road is and if anyone has a recommendation for a place to overnight along this route.

- It's a very good road. Two lanes each way with a wide grassy median between. Comparable to an interstate highway, though the speed limit is 65.
It's only 72 miles from I79 (Clarksburg) to I77 (Parkersburg) and will only take an hour or so to traverse. There are a few gas stations along the way, and some places to eat, especially when you get close to Harrisville.
North Bend State Park should have campsites available, but by then, you are in Ritchie County, and only about ten minutes away from the interstate.
