- coolmom42Explorer IIThe campgrounds within LBL are very nice. There are entire loops that are full hookups, you will need reservations to get one of those. One of my friends loves the Dogwood loop at Piney Campground in LBL, for their large 5th wheel with full hookups. Check out their website for details.
I stayed in my mini-van at an electric site on the water in Piney a while back. Very windy spot but I had good cell service, if that matters to you. - WV_WandererExplorerYou are right about the Land between the lakes, not five Lakes area. Sorry didn't leave town was just waiting on some replies. That is the area I'm interested in. Any good campground ideas in Land between the Lakes. We have 2 fur people that travel with us.
- jaycocamprsExplorerI'm guessing the 5 lakes are Barren River Lake, Dale Hollow Lake, Green River Lake, Lake Cumberland, and Laural River Lake. Along the Cumberland Parkway from Bowling Green to Corbin. The OP is from East Tennessee, and central Kentucky wouldn't be a long trip.
- Executive45Explorer IIIWe may never know as it seems WWanderer has wandered off.....:B.....Dennis
- BumpyroadExplorerIf you are talking about Land between the lakes, I stayed at the lakeside campground and Marina in Aurora, KY, and backed my MH in within about 10 ft of the water. pulled my inflatable boat up right to the edge of the lake. had a pump out service for those sites. supposedly new bath houses since I was there many years ago.
bumpy - SteveRuffExplorerSurely he means Land Between the Lakes. Did this last year for a week. There are several campgrounds to choose from and many that are not on RVparkreviews.com once you get there.
- 6_7_tow_rigExplorerI've lived in Ky for 31 years and also not familiar. I'm curious now
- BumpyroadExplorerI give, googled five lakes and got bumped back here. are you talking about the land between the lakes?
