RV wash in west Phoenix?

Anyone have a recommendation of where to take my 5th wheel to get washed in west part of Phoenix? My 5'er is stored in El Mirage area. Heard there are a few truck stops along I-10 near loop 101 that will wash RV's. Pretty much anything on the west side from north to south would be great. Hoping to find a wash that doesn't use high pressure sprayers.
  • Took it to Blue Beacon in Tolleson. They did an ok job but really seemed like a quick hose off rather than a good wash. Paid $28 extra for a hand dry but all they did was a very quick pass over with some towels. After pointing out one missed area after another I gave up and left. When I got it back to storage I noticed a large splotch of dried soap on the upper part of the cap. They used an air hose to blow out a few areas but missed most so numerous drips by the time I got home. I'm not writing them off yet, trailer is much cleaner than it was. I just need to do better at getting them to get it clean and dry before leaving.

I paid extra to have the truck washed at same time. Not worth it. Costs more than the local car wash which does a far better job and cleans, vacuums the interior as well.

How is Danny's Truck Wash which is near by at the Pilot?

  • Probably a BlueBeacon Truck Wash along one of the major roads. We have used them at other towns & happy.

We use Salazar's Detail service. He can be reached at 623-882-5536 and will come to you whenever and where-ever you want him. He's done a good job for us several times. Pretty reasonable rates and will do wash, wash and wax and inside detailing if you ask. He hand waxes most times but will use buffer if requested. I think he will also do decal replacement if you have the decals.

  • I would call a local campground and get names of mobile wash and wax outfit that comes there and have them come to your storage place
