Cooling matress pad

Can anybody recommend a mattress pad that does have a cooling effect. When home I sleep on a waterbed, I know so 1980 but it keeps the fat boy cool. Looking for something that would work in the trailer, most of them say they will keep cool but would love to hear from some first hand experience people. Thanks Michael

    We have the Spa Sensations Gel Memory Foam mattress in our fifth wheel and it works great for my husband who is a "big guy".

    If you use Google Shopping or Amazon and do a search, you will find lots of them. They're all passive (meaning they're not electro-mechanical) and use gel and/or wicking technology. We used active cooling blankets in critical care settings, but they circulated isopropyl alcohol from a large, bedside refrigeration unit. I'm sure they were extremely expensive, too. I've not seen any active cooling pads for non-medical use.
