RV dining table leg for bed posistion

The post for the RV table when placed in the bed position are too short I used 3" PVC pipe and formed the ends to fit by heating them with a heat gun till soft and pressing the ends into the post holes.



Below is a clip I made from PVC pipe as well for mounting under table

  • ON our TT the post are only used in the dining position. Not needed for the bed position.
  • That is a really nice solution, but honestly, I have never seen this kind of short table mount.
  • This is a really great idea. Our wrap around dinette makes a 3/4 bed that is 84 inches long. It easily sleeps two adults... often. We have a larger than normal table surface and I do worry about it cracking when company gets out of bed sits on the edge of the "bed".

    This would be an easy fix.
  • When I put this table in the bed position it will easily fall off when you sit or lay toward the edge of the bed. The post shouldn't be necessary but in my case it is
