Where do I put my level when leveling T.T?

Some people say level the refrigerator only, others say just place level on floor, others say place it on against the outside wall of the T.T. and others I have seen this one. Use the bumper of the T.T. or the A frame of the T.T. ( front ) Which one it's the must important or accurate way on doing this? Because if I check them all they all give me a different reading on the (Bubble level )Which it's driving me bananas:S

Thank you all

I did something similar with my phone on our previous TT. I have a new phone now and the cover is sorta curved on the back. Can't use my level app. It was pretty slick when we could.

I leveled the fridge on my 1st TT cause that's what I though you needed to do. I'm on my 3rd trailer. Haven't leveled from the fridge since. I use the side of the 5th wheel. I also have a front to back level up by the front jacks that I use for that. I figure if my cabinets and fridge are that far out of level from the rest of the trailer then I have issues.

Does this level sensor come with volume control? ๐Ÿ™‚

This is the best answer in the whole thread!!!! And the only 'level' that really matters in the end.

Everybody seems to be working themselves to death every time they set up, on where to check for level. Just do it once. Buy you two HOOKUP MEMORIES(brand name) They measure in degrees. All the other ones I have seen measure in inches. They read a little past 5 degrees. Here is one website: http://www.campingabsolutely.com/store/hookup-memory-levels-motorhome-camping.html
Level your RV one time with a level on the refrigrator freezer plate. When you have the refrigrator level. At the front of the RV put one level on the front and one on the side. Then when you stop somewheres you can see if you are level enough to keep the refrigrator on. When you get to your RV site, you can see right off what you have to do to get your RV level. After a few time , when you see how much your RV is off side to side. You will know from experience how much to put under the wheel on one side to make the RV level side to side.

When the DW grumbles about eggs sliding one way or another in the pan I know the leveling job is out. I'll get a complaint about listing to starboard, port, bow or stern trim.

I level with the front slightly high so the rain water runs to the back in the gutters. This also runs the water in the shower to the inside instead of onto the floor. Side to side, I get level so the bathroom door doesn't swing open or closed.

There are places all over for getting a level. Get a couple of stick on levels. Once a level is established mount the levels. One that can be seen from the truck drivers seat for a side to side level. The other so that it can be seen from the landing jacks switch to get the fore & aft level.

Running around with a carpenters level putting it on the floor, the counter top, even in the fridge is simply nonsense making life much too work intensive.

That I wasn't expecting!

As for the "glass of whiskey" trick. Tried that. But I would sip the high side of the glass first to make sure it was filled properly.

With our latest 5th wheel I just back in, un-hook and push the "Auto Level" and grab a beer!! :B
But seriously, on our other units I leveled the unit one time with a 4' level on the floor in the center of the coach. Then installed stick-on levels at the rear corner stabilizers and one large one over the pin box I could see in my mirror while backing up on a board if needed. Made it easy to get "close enough".
