08 Fleetwood Quantum slide locks

got a new to us 08 Fleetwood Quantum in the manual it says that you should have slide lock bars when moving it. There was none in the camper. Does anyone else have one of these 5th wheels & do they need the locks? Is there anything special that we should know? Also when the slides are pulled will it hurt them to walk on them? Most rvs really don't need slide locks unless there is a problem. I had hydraulic slides that wandered out while driving so I made my own out of 4 X 4s. Looking at getting a renegade motorhome (new 2017) and it comes with slide locks....not sure I will use them. Not sure on your walking question....if the rv has a floor you can walk on it even if the floor is part of the slide. It might wiggle a bit when pulled in but you can walk/sit in it. I have seen slide locks the odd time in Camping World if you want to buy them.
