First off forget about dry weight, it means nothing. Second look at the sticker on the drivers side of the trailer and see what the GVWR weight is and that will tell you the hitch size you need. I would have my hitch be at least 2K to 3K more than my trailer and make sure the hitch can handle the pin weight. I would go with a min of 15-16K. JMHO though.
