I'm new to 5th wheels and took this on a trip and even though it rode well it was too high in the front. I lowered the hitch 1 notch which looked to be 1" and it's still not level. The bottom in the front is about 2 1/2" higher than the bottom in the back. Would any of you lower it more or should I see how it tows before making another adjustment? It has plenty of distance above the bed. The next adjustment would probably be on the pin box.Thanks, Danny

IF ----big IF----you can maintain at least 6" bed rail clearance then lower hitch or raise pin box one more hole.IF doing so would cause smaller bed rail clearance then leave it as it and go camping

Do you have any adjustment in the suspension? I'd much rather raise the trailer a hole, if you have it, to maintain bed clearance.Lyle

Maintain 6" bed clearance for sure. The more you lower the RV's front the more weight is applied to the trucks rear suspension. Could be the pic but the truck looks to be a bit low in the rear.

There's a little more than 9" of bed rail clearance so I don't think that will be a problem. I don't know if there's any adjustments to the 5th wheel suspension but I'll check and see. If not I think I'll move the pin box and see what that does.The truck does look a little low in the back but the pavement has a slight incline toward the front. I may have to take some measurements empty and loaded. Even unloaded the front looks a little high. It's supposed to have a snow plow prep and camper packace so I don't know if that would make the front sit higher or not.Thanks for the replies. Danny

Good EYE!!! I was hoping someone would catch that. I dropped them just enough to touch the blocks. There is a spot we always get since it has no sewer at the Keizer, OR Elks that is flat enough for us to pull into and pull out the two drivers side slides and sleep and head out early in the AM.

Honestly, I'd also get the squat outta the back of the truck. After that, you're fine. You will never have it perfect. Make it safe instead.
