- rb71ExplorerMy 2010 cummins had the engine light come on once from a o2 sensor. It was still under warranty and has been good since then.
- sch911ExplorerHave taken it into the dealer to get all of the latest software updates? If not get it done...
- B_O__PlentyExplorer III have a 2010 diesel. I'm finding the Cummins part is much better than the Dodge part, as expected. I have only owned a couple other Chrysler products and they were junk, turned into rust buckets in only 3-4 years. I should have know better. Lots of issues with this one in 92,000 miles. No electrical problems yet but I currently have a CEL on. Going in the shop this week to check it out.
B.O. - dezl_drExplorerRare to here a ram owner telling it like is.
- retispcsiExplorerOn my 2012 had a check engine light come on. Truck ran fine and went to dealer. It was an O2 sensor. They replaced sensor and had some wires replaced. They were to close to something and melted. Not a big deal fixed under warranty. Truck also had every flash update. I wonder if the wire run for the sensor was not well thought out.

This forum is so full of brand loyal fan boys ready to talk trash on someoneelse's product it is pretty sad. I am not going to go any farther.
Rare to here a ram owner telling it like is. - B_O__PlentyExplorer III've never been brand loyal. I've owned all of them. Some were great some weren't. I spent most of my working days in an automotive service department. Saw lots of good vehicles and plenty of lemons. Only a fool would think his favorite brand is always going to be the best made. Every manufacturer comes up with some bad ideas from time to time.
B.O. - Kevin_ToddExplorerI agree about brand loyal folks. I bought my first Dodge 2500 in 2002. Still driving it. No issues. Truck has 250,000 miles now and with the exception of brakes and shocks, it is still original. Thought about trading, but why? 22 mpg empty and pulls anything it's hooked to. Yeah...those Dodge trucks are junk....

& issue may be under emission system warranty. - 2008WildcatExplorerYeah, delete everything and no issues since....
Runs better, better mileage, and no engine/emissions issue since.
All that******"fell off" at 3500 miles on the odometer.
