A manufacturer who cares!
On February 6th, I ordered a new Grand Design 337RLS FW from Lazy Days in Tucson. Since I elected some options, I needed to wait for delivery from Grand Design. The promised delivery date has come and gone three times so far. I'm frustrated and my salesman is frustrated too.
Late tonight, I received a phone call from the Western District Manager for Grand Design! He personally apologized for the delays and said he'd do everything in his power to get the rig to us as quickly as possible. The primary cause for the delays are that the workforce, suppliers and delivery personnel have all been impacted by the winter weather in the Midwest. He assured me that my rig is a priority and they'll clear the backlog as quickly as possible.
I've owned a lot of RVs over the years, and I've never been personally contacted by a manufacturer when things weren't going right. It gives me quite a bit of confidence that they'll stand behind their product in the future.
