Augusta RVs

What does anyone know about these? Just ran across them, but never heard of them before.
  • The Luxe 5er does not look too entry level from the photos. I have not seen one, but would like to go over a 5er.

  • since their site does not give roof material, I assume it is either rubber or tPO.

  • I dont even see any of the top of the line Luxe model for sale anywhere.... I wonder if this is even something they have built other then the prototype
  • Very little closet space so not good for fulltime. Looks like so many of other manufacturers crazy butt ugly floorplans.
  • HH 39RLRSB floor plan

When you start looking closely at so called full time rigs, you will find a big shortage of storage closets, pantries and other needed items. All of this storage adds weight potential and would require better axles, better tires, heavier frames and higher GVWR and alrger trucks.

The floor plan above is ours and we added a portable island in the kitchen. Lots of closets, lots of drawers and 1 large pantry and two smaller ones.

So you have quasi-full time units and then you have real full time units.

  • We did the Augusta factory tour in August. Saw the beginnings of a couple of Luxe's being built.
