dometic fridge

I had the same problem took it to three rv dealers until one finally installed two extra fans and adjusted the door to seal better, 2 years later still working perfect.

I talked to a customer support agent from Dometic and they told me 38-44 deg is acceptable temp in the fridge. how many here would be happy with that

This is the one I purchased & this is the EBAY seller I got it from.

They are very simple to install. The fans are self grounding to the fins & the hot wire I ran down through the "drain" line from inside the frig to the outside compartment & connected to the 12 volt on the back. The hot lead is fused with a 1-amp fuse. It has an on / off switch on the fan itself.

If you've heard this before, "EVEN A CAVE MAN" .......

38 Degrees is an optimum temperature. A unit set at 38 Degrees might come on at 38 Degrees and shut off at 35 Degrees.

Sounds to me that everything is actually functioning normal.

I would wait & see what happens when ambient temperature gets in the 90's & check it again.

If you want to enhance the frig operation at any time I would suggest one of these. I installed one last Spring & it works very well. With the on/off switch, it's about $18
