Had a idiot stopped in between the highway and exit, you guessed it, the idiot pulls out in front of me and doesn't excelerate!!! That was a near miss for me with my family and TT.

Once last summer and the other a couple weeks ago. First was someone passing on a corner. Luckily the person being passed and myself had enough shoulder to move over. He passed between us. He was pulling a trailer and me our 5th wheel. I felt his wind on my trailer.

This year passing on a double line. The vehicle he was passing was hard on the brakes and once again enough room for us to move over and let him pass between.

These drivers don' t make me angry – they make me sad and scared at the same time. It's not only their lives on the line but the ones of the family in the car coming the other direction.

I see it daily - inattentive driving, speeding, recklessness, improperly maintained equipment, you name it. In just the past week two accidents come to mind where traffic was delayed for hours and miles. One incident had no/minor injuries. The other left two dead and another in a fight for life.

We all need to remember (myself included) that we're driving a lethal weapon down the road. And we're each responsible for it. I think we would all agree that leaving a weapon on the kitchen table is bad. Yet we seem to think nothing of blasting down the nation's roadways at more than 30 over the limit, etc.

Must use safety equipment laws are making a mockery of Darwin's Theory of Natural Selection.

We had 4 fender bending ops drivers here in my county this AM. Two separate places and times. One was a couple high school kids in a hurry to get to school, fender bent each other 1/4 mile from school.

it has always amazed me how long some people live for as stupid as they are. I had a guy run a stop sign the other day and I honked at him and he had the nerve to tell me I was number one in the world.

Oh they're not just in the western states. Stupid drivers abound here east of the Mississippi River as well. I think Ron White said it best, "you can't fix stupid"!

blacktop hit it on the head. Bad drivers are everywhere. We just completed a 1300 mile trip to Wyoming and Montana and saw incidents in both states. And here we see fatalities almost daily on the news, especially motorcycle riders this time of year. And some were not the cyclist's fault. People need to stay focused and not be in such a hurry.
