Dutchman Voltage?

Anyone have any reviews as to their quality? For that matter what's some of the better quality toy haulers? Any advise on what to shop for? We have 7 in our family who often bring friends. Thanks
  • Happy so far with our new to us 2014 Voltage. Seems to be better built than most of the others we looked at.

I like mine. Seems built well. They all have little querks and little issues. I feel that since Keystone got involved they have bumped their game up in the past 3-4 yrs

I have the Triton 2951 as I needed an open floorplan. Actually I needed 16-17ft garage but did not want a 40+ foot rig to get it. I walked all the Voltage Lineup, Epic models as well. I didnt need the fluff and gadgetry.
We went with the Voltage Triton 2951, too. If you're on the west coast looking at 30-32 ft. 5th wheel toy haulers by Eclipse and Genesis, it's worth your time to have a look at one.

My wife loves the almost residential-size shower. We've seen the same shower in $200k motor homes. Also like the fact the 2951 doesn't have a slide in the cargo area. Cargo area slides eat up precious cargo space on a toy hauler. The 2951 offers good bang for the buck if you take the time to find one with discounted pricing.
  • We have 2015 3818, and love it. It feels like home, has all of the features we wanted to dress up our camping life a bit. I will admit it is not without it's faults though. We ended up with a leak in the bedroom slide 6 months out of warranty and that cost us almost 4k to fix. I've spent several days fixing/updating stuff that you would expect to be right from the factory for the price tag. I am super anal about my equipment though so I'll admit some of the stuff I've done wasn't needed, but I like to make it mine. If you go with one, check your A/C's and plan on installing electric dump valves. Take care of it and it will take care of you. I personally think they are all about equal in the way of build quality, the industry standard is set pretty low!
  • We have been very happy with ours. We had an older Raptor before so this thing is like a Cadillac to us.
We did buy it a year old so maybe the original owner worked out the bugs.

  • We are on our 2nd Voltage 3200. Our first one was a 2011. The only problems we had with it was one of the motors for the main slide froze up over winter and was replaced by the dealer under warranty. We also added the second AC in the front bed room. Other than those major items, there were no problems with anything else.

We are now on our second 3200, as a 2015 model. We had one problem with it due to a problem at a campground, nothing to do with manufacturing. The manufacturer made some changes to various small items in the unit that we wanted from our first version. There are a couple of minor changes that they made that we are not happy with but can live with as no trailer is ever perfect.

If you need additional information about our units, PM me and I will try to answer all your questions.
  • What types of problems? The manufacturer didn't stand behind their product? How old is it now?
  • We were sorry we ever bought our Voltage during the first year of ownership. Once the bugs got worked out, by me, it has been a satisfactory trailer and we are happy with it.
