Holiday Rambler 5th Wheel Slide Out Problem

Since I posted my question I too came across the manual for the floor slide system. I completely understand what the stop can was, but didn't know "how" it affected the slide out system. Your explanation makes sense and helps shed some light on what I need to do to try and correct the issue - THANK YOU.

The 'Bell' is called a Stop Can. Adjust the Stop Can towards the frame to stop the slide sooner. Check your outside seal to assure it's still making contact after adjusting.

My slide has this exact issue, which I solve by manually cranking a couple turns and then the motor will extend the slide (kitchen slide on 360IBL). Can you elaborate on what adjustment(s) you had to make so the slide operated correctly? Doesn't seem like a motor issue.

Obviously there is nothing wrong with the slide motor at all. I know I have a warning on my slide switches that say "Only operate with fully charged battery". It may be that your batteries just weren't fully charged hence it wouldn't move that slide. It may also be that it has the largest motor and draws the most amps.
I make a point of putting my slides out while still attached to the truck and the truck running. That way your batteries should be fully charged when you do disconnect.
