I will say one thing, the spec's you get in brochures and online are for a stripped truck. Look on your door post for the numbers on "your" vehicle. They vary according to options. Mine came with Continentals and they both failed with under 17k mi towing a 12k 5er. Now have Michelins, all the way around, rated 3540 ea....
The motor and tranny are the same for the F250-350-450. It's the rest of the package that makes a difference, yep it can tow it BUT can it carry and stop it...
Time to load up, hook up, and visit the scales then start looking a real numbers and not guesses. I weigh mine every so often just for grins, just costs $11. (last weekend)
