When we had this problem, it was just the pin that held the connecting rod (to the other side) to the drive motor's shaft. It broke, all we had to do was find a replacement bolt and put it through the drive shaft on the motor, tighten with a nut and we were good to go. the Hardest part was lining up the connecting rod hole with the hole in the motor's drive shaft.
We used a better bolt than the original - surprise on that.
You sure that's not supposed to be a shear pin? If so, then if you have a problem, the bolt might cause stuff to break that's not supposed to. Just saying that you should double-check, is all.
