mor ryde, holiday rambler 5er

Just found some helpful info on my mor ryde spring replacement. Would still like to hear from anyone that has done this job. Tips and pointers!! 1997 Holiday rambler Imperial. thanks

I did it years ago on a 1990 Teton. Too many years to remember details, but it ain’t that bad, if....you are pretty handy with tools, a concrete pad,have a couple of bottle jacks and ideally a roller floor jack. I was supposed to change out those on our present three (3) axle Teton this summer, but, haven’t had time. If I had done so....I could offer lots of “gory” details! So, the best I can offer is... Best of Luck!

Also, having a “taper” punch or two to help with bolt hole alignment would be quite helpful.


And a word of caution.... as you unbolt the rubber Springs....make sure that they are not “loaded-up” and upon removing bolts can suddenly move. A finger in the wrong place could be a “painful” lesson!
