mor ryde, holiday rambler 5er

Just got this 1997 holiday rambler imperial 5er. Need to replace the mor ryde rubber springs. Has anyone done this job? I have done this job in the past on a pace arrow chev.
Just wondering if the procedure would be the same. Can't locate any data for R and R on the 5er. thanks

  • I did it years ago on a 1990 Teton. Too many years to remember details, but it ain’t that bad, if....you are pretty handy with tools, a concrete pad, have a couple of bottle jacks and ideally a roller floor jack. I was supposed to change out those on our present three (3) axle Teton this summer, but, haven’t had time. If I had done so....I could offer lots of “gory” details! So, the best I can offer is... Best of Luck!

Also, having a “taper” punch or two to help with bolt hole alignment would be quite helpful.

And a word of caution.... as you unbolt the rubber Springs....make sure that they are not “loaded-up” and upon removing bolts can suddenly move. A finger in the wrong place could be a “painful” lesson!
