New Rig

After nearly a year of searching we have finally put a hold deposit on a new Grand Design Reflection 303RLS which we expect to get in a few weeks.

Finally decided that as the DH said, there are no units made of "nonattainium". The Reflection was the best compromise of weight, length, features and floorplan. We will be putting our 16" wheels and fairly new LT tires from our current unit on it, and keeping our residential mattress.

Should have pictures in about a month....

    TucsonJim - I don't know the brand, but the 303RLS OEM tires are 225/75R15D ST tires. That is what we had on our Laredo (for 10K lucky miles with Mission bombs). We replaced them with 225/75R16E LT tires - BF Goodrich Commercial T/A. The dealer will be swapping the OEM wheels/tires for our 16" which are just 3 yrs old with 25K miles.

    The ability to change to a 16" LT tire was a must have for us. We looked at a 303RLS but it did not have enough clearance tire to bottom of camper -- all other clearances were fine. I coordinated with the manager of the Grand Design Reflection product line who indicated that they have changed the production to correctly allow clearances for the larger tires.

    The 337RLS looks like a nice floor plan, but is a bit longer and heavier than we wanted. We'll see how well the pantry contents travel :)

    Nice to hear. We're waiting until early next year to get the 337RLS version. Do you know what kind of tires the 303 comes with from the factory?
