Next Item Needs Attention - Gap Around Sewer Drain

My next thing that I need to do. I took my floor creeper and wheeled myself from stem to stern under the trailer. I found some gaps where the tank dump pipe comes out from the bottom cover that does not have any of the black spray foam. I'm going to need to get some and seal that area, and the area around where the low point drain pipes are.

What product do I need to look for? I understand that the standard white foam is not what I want to use. Does anyone have a product name for what Northwood uses - or a recommended product? I already bought copper wool for stuffing. Otherwise, except for a couple small gaps inside the cargo doors which will get filled, it's in good shape!

I use landscape foam, it is like Great Stuff but is gray in color.

The black foam is the maximum expanding type. You can get it at Home Depot.

While your under there just lounging around :B I suggest you fill any of the exposed crimp connections (clearance lights, etc) with silicone, dielectric grease or something else that makes them water tight. Otherwise the first trip in the rain is going to start corroding these bare connections. Check the behind tail lights if they're exposed. They will be wide open to road spray.
It's reprehensible that NW takes these kind of shortcuts.

What you want is rhodent proof spray foam. Get some stainless steel screen material too. Cut and secure the screen then fill the vold with spray foam. No more mice getting in that way. You can get everything you need at Home Depot for the project. The regular spray foam mice will chew right through, so forget that stuff.
