It's easier for me to make small repairs than to try to get a service appointment, haul it down there, and be without it for a few weeks (or longer) and I trust my repairs. Plus I learn about the construction of my trailer which may come in handy if we have any issues while on the road. Now if the refrigerator went out or the AC, then I might take it in but I would spend some time googling first.
