I just took my attitude in a few months ago for warranty work. One of the things on the list was that I had a heavy smell of propane coming from the compartment. They replaced the regulator. This weekend I was checking my tanks and when I moved the hose I could hear gas hissing out. Man was I P.O!!! If I took it back, would they fix it? Yes of course they would, but it's not worth my time and cost of diesel so they can do it wrong all over again. Ran down to my local RV shop and picked up a new hose and fitting for $15. I tested for leaks with soapy water, done and done. Sorry I was just venting.
Right. I think part of the issue is the factoriesb and shoddy work from the plant. The other part of the issue is the dealers and their shoddy work.
Boats aren't much different. My buddy dropped almost 200k on a MasterCraft and the engine died on lake his second ride.
Boats, more than RV's are a money pit. I have friends with Scarabs and Cigarettes and I like being a guest but pride of ownership, no way.
