I just took my attitude in a few months ago for warranty work. One of the things on the list was that I had a heavy smell of propane coming from the compartment. They replaced the regulator. This weekend I was checking my tanks and when I moved the hose I could hear gas hissing out. Man was I P.O!!! If I took it back, would they fix it? Yes of course they would, but it's not worth my time and cost of diesel so they can do it wrong all over again. Ran down to my local RV shop and picked up a new hose and fitting for $15. I tested for leaks with soapy water, done and done. Sorry I was just venting.
I forgot to mention that I also fixed my AC the same day I had the gas leak. It was cycling off and on for a couple of seconds. It would happen randomly. I started to pushed on the wall that thermostat was mounted and noticed it would cut in and out more often. I took the thermostat off and noticed there were chaffed wires. Not only were they chaffed but they were only making contact with a few strands. I cut the wire and started fresh. I let it run for a few hours and the cycling seems to be gone.
