Radio/dvd player

I accidently put battery in backwards. Adjusted it right but now the radio/dvd player doesn't work. Fuse is good. Still can't get power to turn on radio. I saw the note that it said if you put battery in backwards you could blow fuses. I had to replace two 40's.

Hooking the battery up backwards likely won't blow the radio fuse but it WILL fry the internals. Time to replace the DVD/Radio.

Is it 12 volt car type or 110 house type unit? If 12 volt sometime you can access the back of it and check the wiring behind it for a fuse holder. Mine had a small 2 amp glass fuse in line.

Radio/dvd player wouldn’t be on a 40 amp fuse. Potentially fried the unit. Try unplugging the trying something else in that outlet that you know works. Also, check all your GFCI’s to make sure none of those popped.
