Rain gutter sealer

I noticed the rain gutter has pulled away from the rear of my trailer. Must have caught a treee branch. It's not damaged but I would like to remove the old sealing compound and put fresh when I re-attach. Is there a particular kind that is best for RV's?

    Clean thoroughly and wipe with Acetone in case someone used silicone. Use a urethane sealant such as ProFlex. Dicor should work if you use the non-sag although I have used Lap Sealant by applying slowly and in small amounts until I built up enough to seal
