Slider Hitch

I have a 2005 Durango fifth wheel. I also have a 16K Drawtite Slider Hitch. We have pulled our trailer Approx 50-60K Miles. and our hitch is very sloppy. Little wear here little there ,lots of points to wear.Add them all up and you have a a lot of slop and a trailer Beating the heck out of you. Any sugestions on a new excellent riding Hitch. Thanks, Mark

If you want the BEST slider or non slider B&W is top quality. No slop, no question if you are hitched or not. Fully articulating head with 1 1/8" thick jaws. Clean bed when you remove hitch.

I used to have a 2007 Durango before I purchased my Cameo. I had a 16K Reese hitch. It was not a slider, as I have a long bed, but it was a great hitch. If you want to stop pitching and your hitch in the truck is good, then I would look at a MorRide pin. I have one on the Cameo and I noticed the difference in towing right away compared to the Durnago's hitch.
  • Get a B & W. It will make you smile like a mule eating briars. I just went through this. My junker which was almost new was a Reese.

Compare B&W to the others, there is no comparison.
  • I almost forgot what a regular hitch sounded like until my father pulled in yesterday. I said that hitch sure makes lots of noise. It a standard Reese 16k non slider. I love my Companion.
  • If you really want a good ride and take the stress off the truck and fiver get an "air hitch".

I can't say how well the TrailerSaver works. I am sure it works fine. For me the TrailAir Extended air bag kingpin with TriGlide works really well. You can see the trailer moving up and down in the rear view mirror but don't feel it.

I use it with the B&W Companion with excellent results. I easily have a clean bed when needed.
