I have the TST system too, but considering the time lag between losing a signal and being notified of same I would look hard at some of the other systems. It can take up to an hour. I don't use a repeater and have had good luck so far since I moved the location of the monitor to a higher point in the cab.
I have not noticed any long delay to the low-pressure alert with TST. (There is a delay if I unhook the fifth-wheel and drive away without switching trailer tires to "off".)
There is no delay in the low-pressure alert. The only delay is if the monitor loses contact with the tire pressure sensor. Then it can be up to an hour before the monitor alerts to let you know about it. That delay when you drive away is the delay from loss of signal. If you left the monitor on it will take about an hour before it beeps and announces signal loss. The same thing can happen on the road if the monitor loses contact with a wheel sensor. And if the sensor reconnects you'll never know that contact was lost. IOW the monitor could lose the sensor signal from a tire, 45 minutes later the monitor regains that lost sensor and you'd never know a thing about it.
IMO it's about the only glitch in an otherwise excellent TPMS.
