Well sure we are not "Brain Dead". Just happen to own one of the most over sprung, under rated TV out there.
The 2nd gen 2500, had a 8,800# GVWR, adding the Camper Package included larger tires, and one ton springs, but nothing changed on the VIN sticker! Tires listed as 245/75-16E's Build sheet states came with 265/75-16E's. I carry my load without bags, 11,000# 5er no issues. Stopping is no issue also, plenty of brake!
Pull heck yes, last weekend got stuck in the stop and go traffic in Lincoln City, OR, very hilly, idled up one with the truck in 1st an my foot sitting on the floor.
