I'd like to give a huge THANK YOU to Brad, the Moderator over the Truck Campers forum for his assistance with this thread.

Thanks also to RVcrazed51 for his request for this thread.

Post photos of your Fifth Wheel on this thread. Any photo with a 5er in it is allowable; any brand, any year.

This thread is generally for Fifth Wheel photos only. But feel free to post comments on posted photos.

Because this thread is very long, I will occasionally clean it up by removing the older posts that do not have Fifth Wheel photos and other off topic material. Also, please limit photo width to 640 pixels by using: width=640. Please do not post thumbnail size photos, they are just too small to see.

Register at photobucket.com (free), download your pictures (takes a while), hi-lite and copy the URL, then use the "image" icon to paste the photo URL.

Hi everybody, I'm looking to buy a fifth wheel, hopefully by the end of the year. And I was just wondering if some of you would care to post some pics of your fiver.

Nice rig. On a side note, you might want to put a pole under that awning under the straps. If a gust of wind pushes the awning down, when it rebounds, it can pull the awning frame bolts out of the sides of the camper. We saw 6 campers this way in one afternoon year before last at Myrtle Beach in a short thunderstorm. Here is a shot of the ones I made.

Wow wuhungsix, I swore I would never go back to California. I may have to eat my words!!! Nice rig and nice places to camp. Mrs. wants to know if you had hookups at the campsite by the beach. Gonna put on my bucket list to witness a sunrise camping on a beach and a sunset camping on a beach. Those boys will remember these times for ever. Good luck, John

Thanks I too am not a fan of California even though I was born and raised here, mostly for the politicians and their need to erode our freedoms. But that's a whole other topic that doesn't need to be talked about here.

What I do love about this state is that I can drive west 2-3 hours and camp on the coast or drive east 2-3 hours and camp in mountains of the Sierras next to a nice alpine lake like Lake Tahoe. I am limited now as to how far I can travel because of the little ones but I would like to head east through Jackson Hole and Yellowstone. Or maybe down to the Southwest to camp in the desert where they have all the sandstone formations.

None of the campsite we go to have hook ups. We dry camp exclusively (so far) but they all usually have clean restrooms and showers. Combined with a healthy battery bank and a Honda generator we are usually good for up to 4 nights with the water when used sparingly. Most of these State Parks have a free dump nearby too.

I am spoiled by the sunsets at Wrights Beach (pictured below) as we often camp there. I have to pause sometimes to take it all in. However a huge draw back with these places is the lack of availability. We book six months in advance to get that beach spot. So if you do come plan it early and maybe you can get lucky and the fog stays off shore.

When it's clear u can expect sunsets like this....

Mods...sorry for the derail. I will keep pictures contained to my rig from here on out.

How do you guys tow and maneuver with 2 pivot points? How do you make a left turn going down going through a town....those rigs have look longer than a 53' semi trailer.

The 2nd trailer tracks about the same as the 5er. Or at least that is the case with my set up.

Mine is the same. It follows right in the 5th wheel tracks. Anywhere the 5th wheel can go, so too can the ATV's.
