I'd like to give a huge THANK YOU to Brad, the Moderator over the Truck Campers forum for his assistance with this thread.

Thanks also to RVcrazed51 for his request for this thread.

Post photos of your Fifth Wheel on this thread. Any photo with a 5er in it is allowable; any brand, any year.

This thread is generally for Fifth Wheel photos only. But feel free to post comments on posted photos.

Because this thread is very long, I will occasionally clean it up by removing the older posts that do not have Fifth Wheel photos and other off topic material. Also, please limit photo width to 640 pixels by using: width=640. Please do not post thumbnail size photos, they are just too small to see.

Register at photobucket.com (free), download your pictures (takes a while), hi-lite and copy the URL, then use the "image" icon to paste the photo URL.

Hi everybody, I'm looking to buy a fifth wheel, hopefully by the end of the year. And I was just wondering if some of you would care to post some pics of your fiver.

We pick the trailer up in September and the truck up last week. Got to use the trailer for a couple of weeks before we had to winterize it since our storage location would move it for me. Connected them for the 1st time Saturday. Itching to go. Long wait till spring.....

Russ and Paula, my heart goes out to you on that kotr project. I had a Wildcat that surprised me with a "restoration" project similar to that. I guess it's different when you know it going in 🙂

Lkend, you guys will have lots of fun with that Cougar. Just keep it leak free 🙂

New to camping. New to the fifth wheels. Wanted to try camping as a long term family activity and everyone recommended a 5er. So, we spent the summer shopping for something we could afford. The rigs on here are amazing. Maybe someday. For now, though we are having a blast with our rig. Hope to learn a lot from this forum and hopefully take a longer trip next summer.

Well I guess I have never posted picture of our rig here.

First the 5er that got us back into Camping.

1986 King of the Road, 28' needed a bit of work, but once done was a GREAT 5er.
We got it with a bit of a soft floor in the back, turned out to be floor and the back and drivers side walls.

The finished project was very nice for a 23 year old rig.

This is our current rig 2005 Copper Canyon 293 FWSLS, while the King was cozy, this has room to stretch out!

Just towed it home 300 miles a few weeks ago and had to stick it in the shed for the winter. It's going to be a long 5 months.

Nice F450. I was seriously looking at buying one. The F350 or C3500 will handle my 18K rig, but I wanted the extra gear ratio for the mountains. I lost interest after contacting my insurance carrier. It will cost me $100 / month above and beyond the cost to insure a F350 or a C3500, at least with Farmers. Looks like no F450 for me.

Thx! It’s a 550 and it started out as a chassis cab truck and was taken to Roll-along for the bed to be put on. I insured mine threw AAA and my Policy went up $300 for the year. I had a 2002 F350 cc srw prior and now the 2007 F550 cc drw. I think $300 for the year is reasonable..
