1200 LRIM Norcold frig issue again!

I would be concerned why they boxes keep on tripping. In my opinion, the box is a band aid fix. I went several years with the recall box installed and never had it trip until the fridge finally failed. I replaced the Norcold cooling unit with the Amish one and it lasted/served me well. So,if your cooling unit fails and you want to keep the Norcold, that's something to consider.

I went through all that for three years defending my wife's desire to keep the Norcold. This year we bit the bullet and installed the Samsung. I kick myself for waiting. Maybe it's time for you too..just a thought....Dennis

I have never seen a Recall LED "blink". They usually stay ON all the time when tripped. On your recall box is a REV letter. Post what Rev it is. Recall boxes can trip if the refer is NOT on, and you have a 12 volt fluctuation problem. Norcold is not going to tell you anything other than to get it to a Norcold Service center. Doug

Yes a strong magnet can be used to reset the 'safety device'

BUT why....if it is tripping erroneously just how much faith in it working when it should.
Get with Norcold and have another box installed.

there is a recall on some of them just run a maganic.also if it gets wet it trips
