2001 Pace Arrow 37K water leak

My friend has a 2001 Pace Arrow 37K with a water leak on the city water hookup side, but runs ok with the internal tank and pump. The leak is approximately under the shower, but the area under the shower (local)is dry. The line goes in the wall and dissappears. Apparently leaking somewhere between the outside connection and a check valve tying into the main supply line. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  • When using the water pump with no city water everything works OK with no leaks. When I turn on the city water (with 50 psi regulator) I have a bad leak under the motorhome (inside the floor), but no leaks inside the motorhome. The city water line goes into the chassis and disappears, only the leak comes from within the subfloor or wherever, I can't tell. The leak has to be between the city connector and the check valve going to the main water supply for the motorhome. I need a drawing of the plumbing..... or help form someone who has had the same problem or is familar with the PA 37K motorhome.
  • What is the pressure on the city water? You may need to use a pressure reducer on the input. As old plastic plumbing ages it gets brittle and develops leaks.
  • A quick test is to disconnect the city water, turn the pump on, once it pressurizes the system and shuts itself off...wait a few minutes. If you then hear it come on again, then you have a leak. The most common leak is the valve where the city water connects.

Is there actually water on the floor?
    need more info.
