2004 Holiday Rambler Admiral 30PDD

Advice and Opinions please on a 2004 Holiday Rambler Admiral 30PDD. We are going to look at one next week. Anything special we should watch for? Any upgrades that are must haves or don't buy it? It lists auto hydraulic levelers, dual pane windows, ducted AC, soft touch ceiling, 2 slides. Thanks in advance for any answers!
  • I have a 2004 Monaco La Palma that we bought new back in 2004.

Have put 80,000 miles on it and I'm impressed with how well everything has held up. Monaco built them right.

If it has the 8.1 Workhorse chassis then you need to make sure the Actia LCD dash readout, to tell you what gear you are in, is readable.

Make sure the Bosch brake recall has been done.
  • Thank you! It's a 2004... sorry. I'm hoping you'll say the same thing about an '04. It's in good shape. Well maintained. 56k miles. Chevy.
  • I owned a 2005 Admiral ... it's just my opinion, but I believe it's one of the best Admirals Holiday Rambler (Monaco) built. One thing I noticed in the following years was the loss of details, like doors to open cabinets instead of drawers, that kind of thing. I loved the weight, it's on the low end of the same chassis used for 34-37 foot coaches, but lighter resulting in great power. I towed a 4300# vehicles through the mountains of the northwest and never had a problem.

If it's had good care it should serve you well.
