I have had 7 RV's and even tho I invested tons of money at one time on a "magic sleeper" sofa I am still convinced there is no such thing as a "comfortable RV sofa. Not for sleeping and especially for sitting. Dinettes do offer a pretty comfy place to eat a meal, however in my experience everything ends up stacked on it, around it and under it so you are constantly moving stuff around. Depending on how many folks play cards that may be an alternative. For me the most comfortable seating in an RV is a swivel chair (barrel) if you have room they make small ones with arms that you can sink into lean back and have a fold up table or stationary that goes inbetween. They also make higher end ones with tall backs "captain chairs that are similar to the front seats. Ideally if you have room they could recline for watching t.v. or relaxing. I am getting ready to purchase a different motorhome with a sofa bed and already wondering about inflatable footrest or taking it out. Good Luck
