I'm in the process of buying a 30 ft. Class A. It has one roof air conditioner. I think is a 1355 BTU. I haven't seen it. The owner lives in Arizona. He says it does ok when in the high 90s. He doesn't the HK ts wired for 2 air conditioners. Is it a mistake getting this? It's a pretty good deal and the exact floor plan we like.

We have a 31' Class A with one air conditioner and it does fine for us. I think it depends on how it's vented. We've got vents in the bedroom, so it keeps things plenty cool. Using a fan if you feel like the air isn't getting moved around enough would help.

If the trip to look at the rig isn't going to break the bank, I'd go look at it. Heck, if the rig's in Arizona, you'll know pretty quick how it does!

Good luck!

It's probably 'good enough' but only if you also use good parking techniques, put up sun screens on the windows, keep the awning extended, turn it on early AM or leave it on all night.

Or best yet, be a snow bird and head north in the summer.
