Acrylic Slide Topper? What do you think? Worth it?

I'm thinking of replacing a worn vinyl slide topper with an acrylic slide topper. What do you think? Is it worth the extra dollars? Does it last longer?

Thanks in advance for your thought.

X2 on this post. Current production of Sunbrella fabric and the thread the toppers are stitched with will fail in just a very few years.

Chris uses the best fabrics and thread and his toppers are very well made. Chris is also a coach owner.

My patio awning and 4 window awnings are acrylic. The were installed in 1997. The cloth is still flawless. I think acrylic is a good investment.

Acrylic materials will hold up better to UV light.

It costs more but will last much longer.

Sunbrella for sure

If you can get one made of Sunbrella it will outlast most any other material. I have had all my boat covers made with Sunbrella for many years and 10 years in the hot Florida sun hardly affects them. I can imagine 20 plus years if it were used on an RV. Amazing stuff.

Don't know the answer to your question, but I know a guy that replaced his with sunbrella material. Don't know about this either but he thinks it will last much longer than original material.
