This upgrade to my 96 Executive is amazing!!!

I ditched the old Sony black & white back-up camera system for this setup making the stereo and my back-up camera system and all in one unit complete with back up sensors. Here are some before and after pics. Just amazing!

Back-up sensors

For a great demonstration of the back up sensors watch this similar system installed in a Mercedes. Clicky

In addition to the Alpine head unit, I installed the following:

Kenwood XR-4S amplifier

Three pairs of Infinity Kappas and one set of Polk speakers in the bedroom. Eight speakers total! I used the spare wiring in the coach to make the bedroom speakers work with the front ones.

Infinity Basslink under the couch.

Color camera with sound and night vision from rvcams.com.

A new old stock JVC 12 disc FM modulated CD changer.

Ford Explorer power window switches for my windshield power shades. :C

Viper alarm system to replace the Trekmate that came with the RV.

This thing sounds amazing! Great sound and bass pouring out of my big Executive!

I am surprised no one has considered back up sensors for their RV.

If you want to try them, a system is available from many vendors on ebay for less than $20.

I have installed one, it's this kit.

I had to buy two kits, as the coaxial cable for the sensors isn't long enough when installed in an RV. I had to have extra sensors to splice their wires and make them longer. I installed the the brain for the back-up sensors in the bedroom cabinet.

Thank you.

Have any of you considered rear parking sensors for your rv?
