I was looking at a Newmar dealer not long ago and they also carry American Coach (I always loved the American Eagle). I commented that American is a good looking coach and the salesman said "And that's about it"! I was surprised by the comment because I always thought of American as a first class quality coach.
He said it use to be but not anymore because their quality control is not at all what is use to be! He asked if I noticed to the left of the drivers position in the Newmar's that there's a name and phone number? I hadn't noticed and he said its your personal customer service adviser. If its 9 at night and and you can't figure out how your furnace works. You call that number and he'll pick up and give you everything you need.
This isn't a Newmar commercial but that was incredible to me that a coach company was willing to get that far in front of their product!
