I've tried a couple different types of levels to determine if we are in fact level. First I used a 3' long carpenter's level which was great for front to back leveling as there is plenty of vinyl floor for the length of it but side to side, I could only put it on the table which was wobbly to begin with. I then tried to use the bubble type levels that go in the fridges but that was wildly inaccurate probably due the small size. I finally broke down and bought one of those blinking 4 legged levels but it too was inaccurate even after following the calibration procedure that came with it. I think it would work better if my rig had the power jacks.
Finally we settled on using the upper cupboard doors and the bathroom door as an indicator of being level and it works great. We just open the doors partially and watch how they swing. Once they stop moving, we are level.
