anti-sway bar kit for Freightliner XC-Chassis

I own a 2006 Tiffin 35DH Phaeton on a Freightliner XC-chassis with 4 airbags; and a Cat C-7 (350hp) engine. Since I bought the coach in July 2015 I have experienced swaying from side winds / road surfaces / approaching & passing large rigs. I also experience the coach rolling when driving onto uneven road surfaces. I'm considering if an anti-sway bar kit on the front end and on the back axle area would improve the situation. But my research into sway bars has had no success for my particular coach. Does anyone know of a third party that has a kit that is designed for my Freightliner chassis? If I have omitted any additional data you need to response to this query, please let me know.
I and the DW have started full timing since August 2015; I have monitored RV.net forums for the last 4 years in preparation for our "Great Adventure". So I know how well you all response in order to help others; and that is why we value your opinions & recommendations. This is our first post, so please excuse any newbie mistakes.
  • My coach has a Neway Freight liner and it come with a sway bar on the rear and the front. I had to replace a rubber grummet on the front. I thought all Freight liners come with the sway bars.
  • Folks, thanks for these ideas/recommendations. I've scheduled an appointment with my nearest Freightliner dealer; and will be discussing the steering control products, checking the airbags and the weight on all 4 corners. your inputs will give me the ability to make a more informed discussion and decision on my issues. Many thanks.
  • Years ago we added a set of Henderson Motion Control units to all 4 corners. They made a BIG difference in handling. We also changed the shocks to Koni FSD's. Our coach handles great!

Have you had your rig weighed on all four corners yet? You want to do that to be sure you are evenly loaded, to the best of the coaches ability, and not overweight on any one wheel or axle. Out of balance or overweight will have an effect on handling.
  • I'm not sure they even make an anti sway bar for freightliner chassis. It could be a matter of properly adjusting your air bags. I would call Tiffin about the problem.
