Its there. You are just NOT seeing it. Have you removed the black plastic flat velcroed cover that hides it? Doug
My cover is clear, and it is removed there is two relays there. 1 is for boosted start. the other is for separation of the 2 battery packs.
1 is a latching relay, that the right side 4/0 Cable goes directly to the chassis batteries (+). the right side is a short 4/0 cable the goes to the boosted start relay that is not a continuous use relay. the boosted start relay's other post goes directly to the Couch battery (+)
coming from the coach battery pack there are 3 other 4/0 cables that go forward from battery compartment and disappear forward in to the interior of the coach.
but your right, I'm missing something. the solenoid that separates the coach battery pack from the coach 12vdc distribution buss.
there are two 4/0 cables that go from the coach battery pack, 1 a (+) and 1 a (-) that go directly to the inverter. there is 13.8 volts present at the inverter between the two. the inverter will not turn on. because there is no control voltage at the control panel.
Plug the coach's 50 amp cord in to the house and you get a fault on the inverter control panel that says no battery voltage (dead battery) simply because the battery shut off solenoid is open.
un plug the 50 amp cord, start the gel-set, same thing occurs.
