The battery disconnect relay is in the same compartment as the Shore Cord, Left side by the rear tires. Doug
Nope, thats the isolator relay that separates the chassis battery from the coach battery pack. and allows the main engines alternator to charge the coach batteries when driving, and the shore cord to charge the chassis battery when plugged in. It is controlled by the Bi-directonal Isolator relay, right next to it.
There is another relay there but it is not the same type. it is to connect the coach batteries to the chassis battery for a boosted start.
Its there. You are just NOT seeing it. Have you removed the black plastic flat velcroed cover that hides it? Doug
You were absolutely correct.
removed the 4/0 cable rom the coach batteries ground terminal placed it on a positive terminal.
It's a wonderful thing how well things work when connected correctly..
The coach is fixed.
the latching relay in the power cable compartment really is the battery disconnect. that is when you hook it up correctly..
This all started when I removed all the batteries or a fuse replacement.
