blowing Fuse

Need some input to help out a friend who is having trouble with his class A blowing a "Bus" fuse on the side of the motor (gas) when he starts the generator. MH has been in storage through the winter, but had no previous problems with this happening. I told him to check the wiring to see if a mouse had chewed on something. Anyone else know what he might look for??
Thanks for all your input.
  • are you talking about a little glass control fuse
on the front of the generator control box ?

this will be internal to the control boards

while wires running to the remote switch inside can get chewed on
these wires normally use a grounding circuit signal not a hot 12v signal

to test, unplug the control wire plug going into the side of the control box, normally a straight line molex connector

and use the start button on the genset to see if it will start without blowing the fuse
