I totally agree with you. Taking low ball offers on CL just leads to wasting time. Those folks that offer sight unseen are usually just fishing. Sometimes those are automated scams - especially if they quote the title of your ad and ask if it is still available. Sometimes they are legit. I engaged in texts for a Morryde freezer tray I have listed. He low balled me and I just said I had just listed it and am not taking any non-seen offers for the first few weeks. Usually ends up with something snarky coming back (heck, that might have been Bill come to think of it).
