JimM68ExplorerSep 12, 2013Gas motorhomes use what is called "hydroboost" for brake power assist.This is a hydraulic system that operates off the power steering pump.These systems have an auxiliary electric pump to provide boost if the engine is off, and that electric pump is what you are hearing.It's totally normal.
