Brass fitting in waste tank

I have a 35’ Monaco Monarch. I had a mound in my waste tank that would not dislodge inspite of all the tricks, such as using ice in the tank. I finally took a hose with a spray nozzle and was able to dislodge the mound by spraying down into the tank through the toilet. As i was closing the nozzle on the hose, the brass fitting came off and went into the black tank. I would guess it is about 3-4” long. I filled the tank and emptied it, never saw the fitting go out with the black water. I dont see it when shining a light into the tank. While i hope it flushed out, if not, any thoughts on whether this is going to be a problem if it is still in there?

Thanks for ideas folks. Executive, i like the proactive approach, good idea, ill give it a try.
BTW, for the benefit of a few posters, my black tank is always closed until full. There was an accumulation under the toilet from the first day i bought the coach. It did slightly enlarge, as the seeds were already planted :). I think i run enough water in the tank, but ill increase it - thanks for the suggestion.

Trust me, it'll only become a problem when the black tank is FULL. At that point, it'll lodge somewhere against the pull valve and won't let you open or close it. Then it'll be a really chitty job getting it cleaned up. Remember Murphy's Law.

While the tank is now empty, get yourself a camera set up, Fleabay sells em for less than 15 bucks and go find it. You can also rent them or get one at Home Depot but they're more expensive. Once you've located it, you can use a claw to retrieve it....Dennis

It will only become a problem if it moves as sticks in a position where it partially blocks the tank exit or in the bends of the plumbing.
My neighbour had a combe fall in the black tank, she thought that the tanks had been drained when she brought it home but, long storey.
Stuff had built up on the combe, that was caught somewhere to the point that the discharge from the full black tank was only a trickle

Sooner or later
It's going to catch at a bend in the PVC pipe coming from the black tank

Depnds on may things.

If it lodges in your hose and does NOT cause a clog. No problem
If it causes a clog. Mess but still not what I'd call a problem. I'm used to all sorts of messes.

If it gets into the park's plumbing and goes straight to an oxidation pond or septic tank no problem

If it gets into a lift pump and tears it all to hell better hope the park owner is not reading this thread. But if he is not. not YOUR problem.
